Meet Dan B. Cross

Dan B. Cross is an accomplished author, therapist, clinical leader, minister, and speaker with more than 40 years of experience in recovery, pastoral ministry, counseling, and behavioral health leadership. He has served as a licensed addiction and mental health counselor, program director, and Senior Director for Substance Abuse Services for one of Oklahoma’s largest behavioral health providers, overseeing services across more than 28 clinics. He has built and directed hospital-based and community-based psychiatric and addiction treatment facilities.

Drawing from decades of personal recovery, clinical practice, ministry, and professional training, Dan integrates biblical truth, clinical insight, neuroscience, trauma-informed care, and spiritual wisdom in his writing and teaching. His work helps readers, clients, churches, and professionals better understand healing, addiction, discipleship, emotional growth, and life-controlling problems through a compassionate and practical lens.
